Juan José Lucci graduated with a degree in Political Science and International Studies from Torcuato Di Tella University and obtained his master’s degree in economics from San Andrés University. Since 2008, he has been an advisor within the National Congress of Argentina, serving on both the Foreign Affairs and Natural Resources committees. He has also acted as a political advisor to various political parties and governments, including at present the Government of the city of Buenos Aires. In 2012, he founded Agenda Antártica, an NGO aiming to work for the environmental preservation of Antarctica and the promotion of scientific research. In 2014, he also founded the Journal of Antarctic Affairs, a joint initiative between Agenda Antártica and the Antarctic and Southern Ocean Coalition (ASOC).
